Mattie Erb Troyer, 79, 523 Concord St, Corry, died Thursday, April 13, 2000, at Corry Memorial Hospital. She was born in O'Neill, Nebraska, Aug 20, 1920, daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Mose Erb. She was raised in Shickley, Nebraska, then moved to the Spartansburg area with her family in 1955. She worked for Spartansburg Fabricators, then retired from the Corry Area School District. She was a member of Valley View Mennonite Church in Spartansburg and its organizations. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Troyer, whom she married Dec 28, 1938, and who died in 1984; and an infant son, Ronald Troyer. Survivors include one daughter; four sons; four sisters; four brothers; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
