Mrs. Philomena Boop, 92, of 529 S. West St., died at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Rita's Hospital following a two year illness. She had been hospitalized for two months.

She was born in Hume and had been a lifelong resident of this area. She was the widow of James F. Boop, who died May 2, 1936. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church.

Surviving are two sons, J. Fred, Berryman Addn.; Gus of Cincinnati; a sister, Mrs. Emma Coon, 850 W. North St.; two half-sisters, Mrs. Lena Heinl, Toledo, and Mrs. Charles Heffner, Detroit, Mich.; four half-brothers, Henry, Frank and Bernard Oen, all of Wapakoneta; Ferd, Oakland, Calif.; seven grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Clifford Slater, died Feb. 6.

The body will remain in the Lewis Funeral Home pending completion of funeral arrangements.
