Sarah (Sally) Strunk was the daughter of Wilhem Strunk and Barbara Rhein. Wilhelm was the son of Johan Engelberth Strunk and his wife Gertrude. Engel and his brother, Johan Henrich Strunk (Henry of Bucks) emigrated on the ship "Rowand" in 1753. There is much confusion on the internet about this family. Many researchers list Johan Henry of Bucks county as being Wilhelm's father. This is definitely not true. Baptismal records definitely prove that Wilhelm was the son of Engel and Gertrude and that Henry and Engle were undoubtedly brothers.
