Mrs. Mary Collins, 79, funeral will be Tuesday
BRACEVILLE - The funeral for Mrs. Mary Collins, 79, who died in St. Joseph Riverside Hospital, Warren, at 1:50 a.m. Saturday following an extended illness, will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at James Funeral Home, Newton Falls. Burial will be in Braceville Cemetery.
Mrs. Collins was born June 18, 1908, in Duquesne, Pa., a daughter of Sandor and Elizabeth Jennings Kovacs.
A homemaker, she had resided in Braceville most of her life and was a member of Braceville Christian Church, Braceville Fire Department Women's Auxiliary and Braceville Garden Club.
On April 30, 1927, she married Charles H. Collins Sr., who died Aug. 6, 1983.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Mary Fay) Bungard of Lake Tanasonffkee, Fla.; three sons, Charles H. Jr. of Garrettsville, Herbert N. at home and William F. of Leavittsburg; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Esther) Jewell of Inverness, Fla., and Helen Waldron of Warren; two brothers, James Kovacs of Austintown and William Kovacs of Newton Falls; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
