SAREPTA Isie Edwards Howell, 97, died Thursday, April 30, 2000, at Hillcrest Hospital in Calhoun City. She was born Aug. 1, 1902, in Calhoun County to Fletcher and Emma Yancy. She was a homemaker and a member of Sarepta Baptist Church. She was the widow of John Henry Howell.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Bruce with the Rev. Carl Morris and the Rev. Mamon Morris officiating. Burial will be in Sarepta Cemetery.
Survivors include one sister, Lola Yancy of Bruce; four nieces, Brenda Winter of Bruce, Gussie Brown of Arkansas, Eunice Graham of Nacogdoches, Texas, and Billy Jean Freeman of Rogers, Ark.; one nephew, Johnnie Tindall of Calhoun City.
Pallbearers will be Horse Hardy, John Easley, Patrick Easley, John Tindall, Andy Tindall and Bill Howell.
