Betty Helen Bellamy, 81, of Linton, passed away at 10:20 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2002, at Shakamak Good Samaritan in Jasonville. Born Aug. 21, 1920, in Sullivan County, she was the daughter of Elisha Hamilton and Edna (Ring) Lang. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis R. Bellamy and Jerry F. Bellamy of Linton; three daughters, Linda K. Leveque of Indianapolis, and Connie J. Byers and Bonnie L. Herndon of Linton; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two half-brothers; and two half-sisters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Bellamy on July 17, 2001; one brother; four sisters; two great-granddaughters; one great-grandson; and her parents.
Funeral services will be at Anderson-Poindexter Linton Memory Chapel at 10 a.m. on Friday with the Rev. David Hoskins officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
