Fred Bellamy, 91, of Linton, passed away at 11:35 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2001, at Shakamak Good Samaritan Home. Born June 13, 1910 in Greene County, he was the son of Grandville and Amelia (Houchen) Bellamy. He was a mechanic at Farm Bureau Co-op. Survivors include his wife, Betty Helen (Lang) Bellamy of Linton; two sons, Jerry F. Bellamy and Dennis R. Bellamy, both of Linton; three daughters, Bonnie L. Herndon and Connie J. Byers both of Linton, and Linda K. Leveque of Indianapolis; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two infant sons, three brothers, two sisters and his parents. Funeral services will be held at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel at Linton at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Gerald DeVore officiating. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
