Born in Meridian, she was the daughter of the late Lamar Boswell and Velma Estelle Finnegan Boswell. Mrs. Theobald had been a resident of Vicksburg since 1974.
She was a graduate of St. Aloysius High School in Meridian and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Vicksburg.
Mrs. Theobald was employed at Mercy Hospital and later taught nursing at Hinds Community College. In later years she worked in the Home Health and Behavioral Science Unit of ParkView Medical Center
She is survived by two daughters, Cindy Theobald Martin (Scott) of Raymond, and Kim Theobald Bustard (Randy) of Russellville, Ark.; son, Charles B. Theobald, Jr. (Pam) of Athens, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; Bryan Martin, Kristen Martin, Zach Martin, Randall Bustard, Blake Bustard, Taylor Theobald Hicks and Shelby Theobald; two great-grandchildren, Mason Martin and Melody Martin.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Theobald was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bernard Theobald Sr.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, at St. Michael Catholic Church with Father P.J. Curley, as celebrant. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery
