ROY ALDEN DIES A T 69
BYRON- Roy Alden 69, of St. Helens a former Byron resident, died this morning in Flint Osteopathic Hospital following a heart attack a week ago.
Funeral services will be held in the Garden Chapel of Lewis N. Small Mortuary Tuesday morning at 10 with the Rev. Kenneth Harris officiating. Graveside services will be held at St. Helens at 2 p.m.
Mr. Alden was born in Shiawassee County Feb. 2 1895 to John and Amelia Alden.
He lived in St. Helens for the past 20 years but the rest of his life was spent in Byron. He married Nellie Barney Sept. 15 1917 and was a farmer.
Surviving are his wife, two sons Austin and Ralph of Byron, four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
