Melinda ROTH
ROTH, Melinda Passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at her residence, Nithview Community, New Hamburg. She was born 98 years ago in East Zorra Township. She was the daughter of the late John and Leah (Erb) Stere. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Roth who predeceased her July 30, 1968. Loving mother of Beatrice and Levi Kuepfer of New Hamburg, Delores and Earlus Roth of Kitchener. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Susan and George Yates, Rose and Ross Yantzi, Dennis and Sandy Kuepfer, Carl Roth and Sonya Deziel, Gail Roth, Heather Roth and Ralph Beier, ten great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Marion Gerber and Loretta Fleming, both of Tavistock. Remembered by a number of nieces and nephews. Melinda was predeceased by her sisters and brothers Barbara and Ezra Gascho, Joe and Viola Stere, Aaron and Magdalena Stere, Joel and Adeline Stere, Lena and Ezra Bast, Ezra and Ida Stere, Irvin and Lucinda Stere, John and Grace Stere, Lloyd and Wilma Stere, Dan and Doris Stere and brothers-in-law Calvin Gerber and Murray Fleming. Melinda was a charter member of Cassel Mennonite Church where she was a former member of the WMSC. She volunteered at Ten Thousand Villages, New Hamburg and then the New Hamburg Thrift Store. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 291 Huron Street on Sunday, December 22, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The interment will take place on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at 16th Line East Zorra Mennonite Cemetery. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Cassel Mennonite Church with Pastor Wanda Roth Amstutz officiating.
