He was born Robert Harold Bills, Jr. in Sheridan, Michigan the son of Lavina (Hubbard) and Robert Henry Bills, Sr. on October 25, 1924. He married Alice Lightfoot Reynolds on June 26, 1966 in Big Jackson. He was a Self-employed Painter & Decorator. He was a veteran of WWII, a member of VFW Post #4249 of Newaygo and DAV in Big Rapids Post #18 and enjoyed working with wood and reading.
He is survived by his wife Alice Bills, his sons Robert, III & Virginia Bills of Newaygo, Raymond & Sally Bills of Brohman, Randolph Bills of Muskegon, John Kevin Bills of Big Rapids, Warren Bills of Fremont, his step-son James Reynolds of Brohman, 20 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, his brothers & sisters Roy & Arlene Bills of Howard City, Fay & Louise Culver of Howard City, Luella & Melvin Ludlow of Orleans, Loretta & Sam Scram of Howard City, Lorraine & Phil Moore of Cedar Springs, several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Wayne, Raymond, Ray and Roger.
