Abram/Abraham's first wife was Rosetta Van Wart, daughter of Levi Van Wart and Rachel Minnerly. She died 26 Jul 1849 in Cold Spring, Putnam County, most likely a victim of the local cholera epidemic. Her two sons, Alonzo and Horatio, died the same month in Beekmantown (Tarrytown). Their stone is next to their father, Abram. Abram and one other son, Walter, survived the epidemic. His second wife Eliza Boyle is buried in Amawalk Cemetery in Yorktown. The foot stone was next to headstone in 1987 but not seen on subsequent visits. Buried in the Old Dutch burial grounds now part of Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. He is my second great grandfather.
