He was a 1969 graduate of Westport High School. Steve was a bus driver for 25 years with KC ATA; Kansas City Area Transportation Authority. He enjoyed working on cars and building and flying radio controlled airplanes. Steve was past president and member of KC Radio Control and 49th Jumbo Squadron, as well as a past member of Sunchasers.
Survivors include his loving wife; a son and his wife; 2 grandchildren; a sister and her husband; additional nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion dog, Cotton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Camp; mother, Doris Ann Azamber; and step father, Ace Azamber.
