Edna E. Joiner, 84, of Paducah died at 6:42 p.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2010, at Western Baptist Hospital.
Mrs. Joiner was born February 15, 1926, in Nortonville, Kentucky, to Oscar Lee and Maude Almeda Hooks Eaton, both of whom preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and was a member of Southside Holiness Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Joiner Swift and husband, Jimmie, and Tansie Joiner Taylor, all of Paducah; two grandchildren, Brian Taylor and wife, Courtney, of Bardstown, William Skinner and wife, Rennie, of Paducah; four great-grandchildren, Riley William Skinner, Nathaniel Ryan Skinner, Cayden Ann Taylor, Blake Thomas Taylor.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Grady H. Joiner; two sisters; and five brothers.
Funeral services for Mrs. Joiner will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Jim Glover and Rev. Noah Martinez officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Livingston County.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
