Requiem High Mass was said Monday morning in the Notre Dame Catholic Church for Otto Henry Bernhard, 62, who died Friday morning in the Peterson Memorial Hospital. He had been ill for several weeks and suffered from a heart ailment.
Father lack officiated at the rites and interment was in the Garden of Memories under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home. He was a native of Tivydale, and had lived in Kerrville for the last 38 years. He operated a sand and gravel yard until his health failed, after which he did contracting carpentering. He had been a member of the Catholic faith for may years.
His survivors are his wife of the home address; one daughter, Mrs. J. N. Wright of Riverside, Cal.; one brother, Albert Bernhard of Tivydale; two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Tom Reeh, Alton Reeh, Felix Bernhard, Milton Bernhard, A. S. Bernhard and Raymond Bernhard.
