Lydia Isabella (Andrew) (Markillie) (Wadsworth) Chittenden was adopted by Lucinda (Bishop) and John Markillie, as a small child. Her Christian name was Lydia Isabella Andrew. Her first husband William Wadsworth only lived 13 days after being married to Lydia. She then married Charles G. Chittenden, whom she spent the rest of her life with.

Lydia Isabella (Andrew) (Markillie) (Wadsworth) Chittenden had three children (3): Arthur John Chittenden (04 September 1867), Ida Maude Chittenden (20 July 1870), and Ethel Maude Chittenden (30 October 1886). All three children were born on the farm in Boston Township, Summit County, Ohio. See Find-A-Grave for particulars on each one of them.
