Newark—Mrs. Ruth Kendall, who died at her home in Shelbina, was buried here at the I. O. O F cemetery beside her husband, Amos L. Kendall. The Kendalls were former residents of the Plevna vicinity and well known here.

Mrs. Ruth Kendall Buried at Newark.
Mrs. Ruth Kendall, widow of Amos Lee Kendall, was buried in the Newark cemetery Sunday afternoon. She was the mother of Mrs. (Mary) Leroy Stokes and Carl Kendall. She had lived the last six or seven years at Shelbina, where Mr. Kendall died about four years ago. They had lived most of their lives near Plevna. The funeral service was held at the Christian church in Plevna. The Shelbina Eastern Star performed the funeral service at the grave. She was a woman much loved by all who knew her. The beautiful flowers were a silent testimony of her many friends.
