Funeral services were held on Wednesday, December 17 at St. John Baptist Church for Albert Wilson, Sr. Rev. W.K. Jackson Officiated. He died December 10, in Presbyterian Hospital. Interment was in Trice Hill Cemetery under the direction of Rolfe Funeral Home. Wilson was born on December 24,1890 in Big Bend, Louisana. He was a member of St. John Baptist Church until hi Health failed. He was a retired construction worker. He was preceded in death by his wife Mattie and two sons. He survived by two brothers Sidney and John Wilson both of Pittsburgh, Calif., one sister Annie Bell Hurts of Oakland California; six sons, Fulbright, Albert jr., Merrix, Dave, Israel and William; four daughter Mary, Arinwine, Daisy Jackson, Queen Keeton and Beulah Grate; 40 grandchildren, 30 great children, and one great grandchild.
