Mollie Weis Rauh was born August 29, 1883, in the small Kansas town of Lehigh. and lived 70 years, 6 months and 14 days. Mrs. Rauh died at Watonga, OK, Sunday, March 14, 1934. Mollie had been a resident of of the Hitchcock community for 54 years.
Mollie married Henry Rauh, August 27, 1900, at Loyal, OK. Into this union were born three children, Rosella, Clarence and Lillie May. They made their home in Hitchcock. Henry had an accident and died in April 1909.
On November 26, 1909, she and Martin Rauh were united in marriage at Woodward, Oklahoma. Four children were born to them: Leah, Louis, George and Margaret.
Mrs. Rauh became a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in 1914. She was a firm believer in the hope of the resurrection and remained true to her convictions till life end.
Mollie was preceded in death by her parents, Johann (George) and Katrina (Lorenz) Weis; her first husband, Henry Rauh and four children; Lillie Mae, Louis, George and Margaret Rauh.
Survivors: spouse, Martin Rauh, children, Rosella Robinson, Edmond, OK; Clarence Rauh SR and Leah Rauh, Hitchcock, OK; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren; three brothers, Ezra Weis, Hitchcock, Theo and George Weis of Enid, OK; and one sister, Mrs. Rosella Pribyl of Oklahoma City OK,
Funeral services for Mrs. Mollie Rauh were held Tuesday, March 19, 1954, in the high school auditorium at Hitchcock, OK. Services were conducted by Elders Dale Aslborg and F. G. Young of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Burial was in the Peaceful Cemetery, Okeene, OK with the Keller &. Landes Funeral Home in charge.
