Juanita F. Ropp, 96, a resident of Fredonia, Kansas, died Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Golden Living Center in Neodesha, Kansas. She was born January 10, 1917 in Benedict, Kansas, the daughter of John William and Myra Zola (McGaugh) Cook. She was a homemaker

On August 7, 1938, Juanita was united in marriage to Charles C. Ropp. He preceded her in death August 14, 1988.

Juanita was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fredonia.

Her survivors include:

Betty Hash of Neodesha, KS
Norma Jean Wescott of Buffalo, KS

Brothers:
Milburn Cook of Harrisonville, MO
Richard Cook of Godley, TX

Numerous nieces and nephews

She was also preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, December 6, 2013 at Timmons Funeral Home with Pastor Carl Ellis of the First United Methodist Church officiating.

Private burial will take place in the Altoona Cemetery.

A memorial has been established in Juanita's name with the A.L.S. Foundation and contributions can be sent to Timmons Funeral Home.
