Sarah B. "Sally" (Bogan) Affeld, 85, of Avon, IN formerly of Valparaiso, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2004 at Hendricks Regional Health Center in Danville. She had lived in Avon since November 2003. Sally was born June 29, 1918 in Frankfort, IN, to George and Gladys (Bristow) Bogan. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Valparaiso. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Robert "Bob" Affeld; one daughter, Linda (Eldon) Skinner of Avon; three grandchildren; Holly, Brandon and Brett; two great-grandchildren, Ashlin and Logan; two brothers; Chuck Bogan of Missouri and Bob Bogan of Las Vegas. She was preceded in death by two brothers; George and Frank and two sisters; Agatha and Peggy. Funeral services will be Wednesday, 11:00 A.M. at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, IN., with entombment to follow at Graceland Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation Tuesday, 4 to 8 P.M. Memorials may be made to VNA Hospice.
