Alfred was a native of Berlin New Hampshire. He was the retired owner of Badeau Tree Service and an Army veteran. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 53.
He was survived by his wife, Ella Mae Gibson Badeau; daughters, Mrs. Livia Snead of Greensboro, Mrs. Glenda B. Mottram of Climax, son, Kenneth of Greensboro, James W. of Farmington, N.M., Ralph Thomas Garner of Pawtucket, R.I.; sisters, Mrs. Dora Pelchat of Bristol, Conn., Mrs. Gertrude LeClerc of Berlin, N.H., Mrs. Teresa Vaccaro of St. Petersburg, Fla.; nine grandchildren.
