JAKE M. BARNHART

Services for Jake M. Barnhart, 59, of Hartford, who died Friday at Mercy Hospital after a long illness, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Richardson Funeral Home in Carlisle with burial at Shaul Cemetery, Ottumwa.

A native of Missouri, he had lived in Des Moines and Ottumwa before moving to Hartford 17 years ago. He was owner and operator of Jake's Alignment Service Inc.

Survivors include his wife, Gertrude; two daughters, Mrs. Janet Steinway of Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Joyce McCloud of Cedar City, Utah; two brothers, Floyd of Ottumwa and Dwayne of Des Moines; two sisters, Mrs. Rosemary Burk of Ottumwa and Mrs. Bettyjean Bessett of Milwaukee, Wis.; and six grandchildren.
