DALLASTOWN Paul E. Haugh, 91, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 25, 2013. He was the loving husband of the late Cornelia (Roberts) Haugh. Born May 6, 1922, in Laurel, he was a son of the late John W. and Elsie (Wilson) Haugh. Paul lived in Laurel until he was 18. He then enlisted in the U.S. Army where he proudly served his country during WWII, and while he was stationed in England during the war, he met and married his loving wife Cornelia. After coming back from serving in the military, Paul spent his time raising his daughters and working as a carpenter. He was a proud member of Carpenters Local 191. Mr. Haugh enjoyed spending time with his family. He would often go on walks with his daughters around town. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and swimming at the YMCA. Paul is survived by four daughters, Pauline Myers and her husband Ray of Red Lion, Mary L. Hesketh of Dallastown, Christine A. Haugh of York, and Patricia DiMarcello and her husband Charles of York. Mr. Haugh is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, Paul was preceded in death by a daughter, Elaine Snyder; four brothers, Harry, Raymond, Lester, and Leroy Haugh; and a son-in-law, Kenneth Hesketh. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2013, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 251 E. Main St., Dallastown, PA, with Father John McCloskey, OFM, cap officiating. A time to share memories with the family and an opportunity to view will be on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in Dallastown Union Cemetery, Dallastown. Pallbearers will be Ray Myers, Ronald Myers, Robert Myers, Daniel Hesketh, Joseph DiMarcello, and Ray L. Myers.
