Dortha L. Allen Anderson, 55, of Sulphur Rock died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003, at her home.

Born July 24, 1947, in Batesville, she was the daughter of William D. Allen and Stella Stewart Allen. She was a line stocker/distributor at White-Rodgers where she worked for 34 years. She was a member of First Pentecostal Church in Sulphur Rock.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Loyd Anderson of Sulphur Rock; a daughter, Misty Anderson and her fiance, John Holder, of Sulphur Rock; two brothers, James Allen of Batesville and Andy Allen of Independence, Mo.; five sisters, Goldie Imler of St. Joe, Mich., Angie Lee Ellis of San Bernardino, Calif., Virgie Hutchison of Batesville, Patricia Hutchison of Sulphur Rock and Lois Johnson of El Dorado; and a grandson, Devin Holder.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Madeline Allen, Florence Allen and Mary Marie Scribner; and two brothers, William Dee Allen Jr. and Arlon Allen.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Pentecostal Church in Sulphur Rock with the Rev. David E. Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Osborne Cemetery at Batesville with arrangements by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Anderson, Jason Stoner, Jason Anderson, Brandon Webb, Stacey Hutchison and Michael Henderson.

Honorary pallbearers will be the class of 1968, Dr. J.R. Baker, Dr. John Allgood, Dr. Jack Sturnburg, Dr. David Bard, Dr. Donald Leonard, Dr. Bob Smith, Dr. Steve Alexander, Dr. Robert Walton, and friends and employees at White-Rodgers.
