William J.C. 'Jake' Warren, 52, of 3005 NW 20, died Monday at the VA Hospital. He was born in Arkansas, and came to Oklahoma City in 1920 from Wynnewood, and was in the restaurant business. A member of the Baptist church and a WWII veteran, he was likewise a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was survived by his wife, Tena; three sisters, Mrs Fred Proctor of Duke, Oklahoma, Mrs Ernest Halasek of Wheatland, and Mrs Forris Westbrook of Oklahoma City; three brothers, Toland and Preston of Oklahoma City, Truman of Roanoke, Virginia, and Lyndell, who is in Germany; also by his parents, Mr & Mrs Otis Warren of Nicoma Park, Oklahoma.
