Mr. Wood was a decorated veteran of WWII where he served in the US Army. Donald was a heavy equipment operator and was a member of the Operating Engineers. He and his family made their home in California for over forty years before moving to Eagle Rock, MO in 1992.
On February 21, 1946 Donald was united in marriage with Myrtle Lincecum who survives him of the home. He is also survived by one son, John Wood of Eagle Rock, MO; one daughter, Leslie and husband Glen Seabaugh of Golden, MO; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one brother and two sisters.
Mr. Wood was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, three sisters and one daughter-in-law.
