Our beautiful wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Natividad "Talo" Ramirez of Artesia, N.M. went to her heavenly home on Thursday, October 3, 2013. Her loving family held her hands as she left this world and joined hands with her Savior.

Natividad was born January 12, 1928 in Marfa, Texas to Elevorio Perez and Paubla Campos Perez. Her given name was Natividad, but was nicknamed "Talo" by her younger brother.

Talo's father, was a ranch foreman for Clyde McFarland's Ranch "La Cuerva" near Marfa during Talo's formative years. She loved to share stories about the families years spent at La Cuerva. Sharing stories of her and her brother trying to catch a roadrunner as a gift for their mother; pulling a puppy from a hot water boiler tank or playing rodeo by mounting a new born calf, always made her smile. Many other memories always brought a smile to her face. Once the family moved to Marfa, Talo worked as a waitress at the Old Borunda's Cafe and The Best Cafe in Marfa until the family moved to Artesia, New Mexico. She worked at Artesia General Hospital for 24 years.

A few years after moving to Artesia, Talo met and married the love of her life her husband on May 25, 1957 in Artesia. Their marriage was truly brought together by God as they shared a lifetime of love, loyalty, commitment and sacrifice up to the very last breathe of her life. A picture of them holding hands sitting together in a hair salon in Midland, Texas was posted on Youtube last year by a hairdresser that was so touched by their example of love and care between the two as they sat in her salon. Three children were born of this beautiful union.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Faustino Perez and Enrique Perez, sisters Cruz Galindo and Aramita Montez.
