Ronald Dwaine Johnson, 74, rural Eureka, passed away at 8:53 a.m. Wednesday (Nov. 20, 2013) at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, Peoria, after many years of a courageous battle with complications due to Parkinson's Disease Dementia.
He was born Jan. 2, 1939, son of John and Odelia Rippel Johnson. He married Alice Oltman on Jan. 10, 1960 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Benson. She survives.
He is also survived by one daughter, Lisa (John) Albers; one son, Tim Johnson; two brothers, Roger (Martie) Johnson and Rodney (Arlene) Johnson; one sister, Sharon (Jerry) Birkenbeil and two grandchildren, Jess and Alissa Albers.
He was a progressive corn and soybean farmer his entire life and farmed with brother, Rodney.
