She was stillborn at birth at Charleston General Hospital on April 28, 1947 due to complications with Eileen having the negative Rh factor. Official cause of death was listed principally as Lutra Uterine Asphyxia with the contributory cause Maternal Placenta Previa.
Barbara was buried in a small baby cemetery on the property of Eileen's grandfather, Jacob C. Stonestreet. The cemetery at one time held the graves of three other baby cousins. A set of twins from Stanton and Mabel Stonestreet, Rosa Lee and Vera Lee Stonestreet, have since been removed to Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens leaving only Barbara Ann and Larry Andrew Spadling, son of Bentford and Freda Spradling, in the small Stonestreet Family Cemetery.
