SOUTH BEND — Services for Bertha Grenert, 90, formerly of North Notre Dame Avenue, who died at 3:50 p.m. Friday in Regency Place Health Care Center, will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood Drive. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.

Mrs. Grenert was a salesperson and seamstress for Worth's ladies clothing store.

She was born May 15, 1904, in Hanna and lived in this area most of her life. On May 15, 1926, in LaPorte County, as Bertha Knope, she married James P. Grenert. He died July 21, 1993.

Surviving are two daughters, Paula Molnar of South Bend and Neva J Wangberg of Mulvane, Kan.; a son, James of Mishawaka; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Twilo Rosenbaum of Hanna. A daughter, Dolores Harris, died in January 1993.

She was a member of South Bend Maennerchor Club Auxiliary.
