On April 20, 1910 in Taunton, MA, Charles C. Cain, 22, a newspaper man born in Medford, MA to Charles C. & Mary Frances (Wood), married Anna Louise Linnane, 23, a housekeeper, born in Taunton to Patrick Francis & Annie Elizabeth (Finnan). This was the first marriage for both.

Mrs. Anna Louise (Linnane) Cain of 46 Payson Street, [Attleboro], wife of Charles C. Cain Jr., retired publisher of the Attleboro Sun, died unexpectedly at her home Sunday [Oct 03, 1965]. She was 77. Born in Taunton, daughter of the late Patrick J. and Annie (Finnan) Linnane, she had lived in this city [Attleboro] for the past 35 years. She was educated in Taunton and Falmouth Schools, and was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Falmouth. Before moving to this city in 1930, she lived in Taunton. She was a communicant of St. John’s Church here; a member of St. Elizabeth’s Court, Catholic Order of Foresters in Taunton; and a member of the Alcazaba Circle, Daughters of Isabella, here.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Charles C. Cain 3rd business editor of the Associated Press in Detroit, Michigan; three daughters, Mrs. A. Louise Fremault and Mrs. William J. (Mary E.) Cronin of this city and Mrs. Chester A. (Gertrude A.) Vander Pyl of Warwick, RI. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Nellie Sheehan of San Diego, California; a brother, Francis P. of Taunton; and 17 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
