MOTSINGER TOBACCOVILLE Calvin Albert Motsinger July 3, 1932 - Nov. 17, 2013 Mr. Calvin Albert Motsinger, age 81 of Tobaccoville passed away Sunday evening at his home in Tobaccoville. Mr. Motsinger was born in Forsyth County, July 3, 1932 to Lindsay and Eva Crouse Motsinger. He was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. Mr. Motsinger was a US Army Veteran, retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company with 30 plus years of service and was a World Champion Horseshoe Pitcher. He loved his family and spending time with them. He will be greatly missed. In addition to his parents Mr. Motsinger was preceded in death by one sister and nine brothers. Mr. Motsinger is survived by his wife of 61 years of marriage, Earline Motsinger of the home. Two sons; Keith Vernon (Karen) Motsinger and Gary Lee (Cindy) Motsinger both of Tobaccoville. Two grandsons; Daniel (Alli) Motsinger and Dylan Motsinger. One great-grand-daughter Ellington Motsinger. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Motsinger will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant View Baptist Church in Winston-Salem by Rev. David Harmon. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall with military burial rite conducted by the American Legion Post 290 of King.
