Funeral services for Katie B Conley, 90, of Rayville, LA will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, November 18, 2013 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, with Rev. Jimmy Goodman and Rev. John Cleveland officiating. Burial will follow in Lynn Cemetery, Archibald, LA.
Katie was born March 9, 1923 in Mangham, LA and passed away Friday, November 15, 2013 in Rayville, LA.
Mrs. Katie is preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Lee Conley; parents, Willie and Mattie Crawford; children, Geraldine Parker and Teddy Ray Conley; sisters, Ethel Fife, Sally Allen, and Willie Mae Nivans; brothers, Mallie T Crawford, Ray Crawford, and Sidney Crawford.
Mrs. Katie was a member of the Archibald First Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, canning vegetables, and playing bingo at the Nursing Home.
Survivors include her children, Charlene C. Walker of Holly Ridge, Crawford C. Brown of Archibald, and Eddy Fay Conley, Sr. and wife, Rhonda of Rayville; 10-grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; and brother, Ted Crawford of Rayville.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Richard Griffin, Parrish Griffin, James Parker, Jr., Michael Franks, Kevin Franks, and Eddy Conley, Jr.
Visitation is 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Sunday at Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.
