Mrs. Dora Blanchard
Mrs. Dora Blanchard, 78, died in New York city where she was with her niece, the former Miss Mary Carlisle, Mrs. George MacEwen for several weeks.
Mrs. Blanchard had spent the winter in Florida, but a few weeks ago, after a fall in Deland in which she injured her hip, joined her niece in New York. Death followed a cerebral hemmorrhage Wednesday.
Funeral services will be held at the North Falmouth Congregational church, Friday, April 1, at 2 o'clock, Rev. Charles W. Mock officiating. Mrs. Blanchard was born in 1854 in the Province of Quebec. She and her husband, the late Benjamin Blanchard, made their home in the house next to the old district school now owned by James H. Rand of North Falmouth.
Survivors include Mrs. MacEwen, Mrs. Arthur Fiske, Providence and North Falmouth; Mrs. Nathaniel Duke, West Orange; Mrs. S. C. Thomson, East Orange; Mrs. Howard Lincoln, Canandaigua, N.Y.
