E. H. "Bud" Garrott, Jr., born 1926 in Bradenton, Florida, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2012 at his home in Bethpage, TN. Mr. Garrott is the son of late E. H. Garrott, Sr. and Myra Baker Garrott. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Betty Wright Garrott; children, Edmund Hails "Sonny" Garrott III (Gail), Emily Garrott Cryer (Gary); Joseph D. "Jody" Garrott, Steve Dobbs and Angie Anglea (Anthony); brothers, John Baker Garrott, Sr. (June), Joseph Thomas "Tommy" Garrott (Sue) all of Gallatin; sister, Myra Garrott Choate (Chad)of Bradenton, FL; grandchildren, Leigh Ann McCoy, Amanda Bess Ragland, Edmund Hails "Ty" Garrott IV, Haven Garrott, Aleck Garrott, Shana Anglea, Meagan Anglea Wood (Justin) and two great grandchildren.

Mr. Garrott graduated from Gallatin High School, served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Upon returning home he went into business with his father and brother at Garrott Brothers Continuous Mix where he worked as President and Chief Mechanic until his retirement.

He was a member of the Gallatin Lions Club, Deacon at the First Presbyterian Church, Kentucky Colonel, Tennessee Colonel, National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association, Black Powder Hall of Fame in Friendship, Indiana and member of the Kentucky Corp of Long-riflemen.
