Wilma was born Oct. 27, 1921, in Sparland, the daughter of Robert and Jesse Crocker Gibbs. She married John O. Doyle on July 4, 1943, at Saratoga United Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on Nov. 20, 2007.
Surviving are one daughter, Audrey (Thomas) Greenwood of Indianapolis, Ind.; one son, Ron (Judy) Doyle of Sparland; three grandchildren, Mark (Heather) Greenwood, Rebecca (Jeff) Conner and Tim (Amanda) Doyle; and five great-grandchildren, Ashley and Taylor Conner and Moriah, Isaac and Asher Greenwood. Also surviving are one sister, Bernice (Richard) Forney; and one brother, Don (Barb) Gibbs.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robert W. Doyle; and a granddaughter, Kimberly Doyle.
Wilma graduated with a teaching certificate from Illinois State Normal University and had taught grade school in the Henry area.
She was a member of the former Saratoga United Methodist Church, until its closing, and then the Henry United Methodist Church. She was a former member of the local Home Extension and the United Methodist Women.
Burial will be in Saratoga Township Cemetery.
