Luticia C. Morrison, born at Flatwoods, Now Braxton County, West Virginia, May 20, 1834. Second child of William & Eliza Hoover Morrison. She married Hiram Parsons in Jackson County, WV in 1851 or 1852. They lived and reared their family on a farm. Mr. Parsons served in the 11th WVa Regiment in the Civil War. They had Eight Children.

Damarus, married John Rhoades who died in Htgn. about 1914. The wife died a few months later. Ora Blanch, who married Charles G. Rhoades of Htgn, and died a few months after marriage.

George W. married Ada Casto daughter of Squire Jacob Casto of Fair Plane, WVa. He taught School for a number of years.

Seven children, all girls Rosa, Louise, Freda, Georgie, Celia, Delles & Beatrice.

James M. married Sally Davis. He taught School for a number of years and was also in the Merchandise Business at Evans, WV and in Marietta, Ohio for several years. He moved to Htgn in 1911 and died in 1922 at the age of 63. His widow still lives there. Children, Edna, Everet, Homer James & Ida.
