Funeral services for Mrs.Laura Werner, 87, of Milwaukee,
a native of the Town ofNewton, were held Wednesdayat Faith United Church in Milwaukee.Mrs. Werner died Sunday at
the Cedar Lake Nursing Homeat West Bend after a brief illness.
She was born July 13, 1881,a daughter of the late William
and Margaret Neuhaus Grosshuesch,and on July 6, 1905,
was married to Edward Wernerof Milwaukee. He died Feb.
15, 1953.
Survivors include threedaughters, Mrs. Harriet Blank
and Mrs. Ed Jones, both of Milwaukee,and Mrs. Ted Barmann
of Atlanta, Ga.; three sisters,Mrs. William GatermanSr. and Mrs. Robert SchefflerSr., both of Manitowoc, a n d
Mrs. J. R. Krueger of Milwaukee and one brother, Otto of Manitowoc and four grandchildrenand five great grandchildren.
Four sisters and four brothers preceded her in death.
