A. Billiter, well known engineer, died early Sunday morning at his home on North Nineteenth Street, following an extended illness.
The deceased was a native of South Carolina, and was 75 years of age. In young manhood he entered the railroad service, and for many years was a popular engineer on the Atlantic Coast Line here. For some time he had been engineer in the local A. C. Line yards but retired some months ago because of advanced years and declining health. He is survived by his wife and four children, Mrs. R. W. Cole, Allen Billiter, Camille Billiter and Cody Billiter.
