The deceased was a native of South Carolina, and was 75 years of age. In young manhood he entered the railroad service, and for many years was a popular engineer on the Atlantic Coast Line here. For some time he had been engineer in the local A. C. Line yards but retired some months ago because of advanced years and declining health. He is survived by his wife and four children, Mrs. R. W. Cole, Allen Billiter, Camille Billiter and Cody Billiter.
The body was forwarded Monday to his former home in South Carolina for burial, the family accompanying the remains home. (Palatka Times-Herald Obituary dtd Friday, 9 Jan 1931.)
