Mary (Frieouf) Kubert Naiman

Mary Naiman, daughter of John and Mary Frieouf, was born May 30, 1875, near Wilber. She and Vaclav Kubert were married March 13, 1894 and settled at Gilead on a farm. Four children were born to this union; Mrs. Albert Bandemer (Hattie) of Gilead; Mrs. Wm. Hruska (Cena) of Fairbury and Geo. and Frank of Gilead. Her husband passed away June 30, 1903.

Five years later, she and John Naiman of Gilead were married on September 19, 1908. One daughter, Mrs. John D. Cloyd (Mildred), Lake Delton, Wisc., was born tot the couple. Mr. Naiman passed away Aug. 25, 1913.

She spent most of her life in Gilead, staying in Wisconsin during the summers and last winter.

She became ill suddenly and passed away at her daughter's home in Lake Delton, Wis., Oct. 29th.

A funeral service was held there Sunday evening. The body was brought back and services were held last Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Traum Funeral Home in Fairbury. A. W. Johnson, pastor of the Methodist church, was in charge. Interment in the Union Cemetery at Gilead.
