Funeral services for Martin Stehle, 82, of Rosenberg, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, at First United Methodist Church in Rosenberg. The Rev. Bill Newcombe will officiate, with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Mr. Stehle died Sunday at his residence. He was born Nov. 20, 1906 in Goliad, Texas. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Janet Hupe and husband, Ralph, of La Marque and Doris Silhavy and husband, Emil, of Rosenberg; five grandchildren, Kevin Hupe and wife, Collette, of La Marque, Gary Hupe and wife, Karen, of Texas City, Anette Hatcher and husband, Robert, of Texas City, Jeff Silhavy and wife, Kellie, of Rosenberg, and Monte Silhavy and fiancee, Angie Matthews, of Rosenberg; two sisters; two brothers; and two great-granddaughters, Tiffany Hatcher of Texas City and Heather Silhavy of Rosenberg.

Friends may call after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Garmany and Carden Funeral Home in Rosenberg, which is in charge of all arrangements.
