Reba Vick went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, June 17 (2016).

She was born July 3, 1924, at Russellville. She was raised in Harrison by her loving parents, Joe and Charlotte Wilkins Lawrence.

Reba was a loving daughter, sister, wife and aunt and was a strong, independent woman. She was a wonderful caregiver to her husband, Ordie Vick, for 38 years, and also to her younger brothers and sisters, and nieces and nephews.

She had a special place in her heart for her great-niece, Erin, and recently, her great-great-niece, Amelia Grace, who called her Nana.

Reba was a lifelong Presbyterian, attending Presbyterian churches in Harrison and Russellville.

Reba was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ordie Vick; brothers, Glenn Wilkins, Dale Lawrence and Elmo Lawrence; and sisters, Juanita Hughes, Anna Rhea Rabb and Edna Edwards.

She is survived by her brothers, Jay Lawrence and wife Marcille, of Harrison, and David Lawrence and wife Donna, of Prairie Village, Kansas; her sister, Louise Ruble, of Harrison; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Hillcrest and Angie with Hospice for the excellent care they provided for Reba. We would like to convey our deepest appreciation for the care, concern and love given by Dr. Simon and Beckah to our beloved sister and aunt.

A Celebration of Life reception will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, in the Gathering Room of the First Presbyterian Church.

Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 220 North Arbor Drive, Harrison, AR 72601.
