Gertrude Hipsher, of Hammond, passed away Friday, August 24, 1973 at Munster Med-Inn. Survivors: two daughters, Mrs. John (Goldie) Galinsky of Monticello, INDIANA, Mrs. Betty Johnston of Hammond; three grandchildren, Nolan (Mary Anne) Ahlborn of Highland, Mrs. Thomas (Betty) Powers of Dyer, James (Carolyn) Galinsky of Schererville; six greatgrandchildren; one great-greatgrandchild; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, August 27, at 1 p.m. at Snyder-LaHayne Funeral Home, 5746 Hohman avenue. Hammond.
Rev. Ray P. Edwards officiated. Burial Ridgelawn Cemetery, Gary.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Pine Street Presbyterian Church. She was a resident of Hammond for 60 years; member Pine Street Presbyterian Church; Naomi Circle of the Church.
