Mrs. Foslien was born in Jefferson Prairie, Wis., January 21, 1857. She came to Douglas county when a young girl with her parents, who came by ox team in 1868, and this has been her home ever since. She was united in marriage to Fingar Foslien in 1883. To this union three girls were born, two of whom survive. Carrie (Mrs. Emil Arneland) passed away seven years ago. Mr. Foslien passed away in 1898. The surviving daughters are Olga (Mrs. Herman Anderson) and Emma (Mrs. Milton Anderson) of Moe township. One brother, Evan Foslien, of Moe township also survives.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 26th, at 1 o'clock from the residence and 2 o'clock from the West Moe church, Rev. Bestul officiating. Interment will be made in the church cemetery.
