Mrs. Eula Newberry Cohron, 91, died Wednesday, Jan 23, 2013, at Harborview Healthcare, Morehead City. She was born on June 23, 1921 in Beaufort County to Joseph and Virginia Newberry. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Oscar Ellwood Cohron in 1990.
Eula was a loving mother and homemaker. Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Linda C. Hunnings and husband, Bill, of Beaufort and Betty Gurnee and husband, Danny, of Stokes; two sisters, Inez Harris, of Chesapeake, Virginia and Frances Rabil, of Louisburg; four grandchildren, Amy, Karin and Daniel Gurnee of Greenville and John Hunnings and wife, Catherine of Parkton.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Homestead Memorial Garden in Greenville.
