Leodie Jordan, Sr., 84, died on June 9, 20008 at the Edgewood Manor Nursing Home in Raytown, Missouri. He was the son of Amos and Gertrude Jordan. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1942 and moved to Kansas City, Missouri in 1944 where he married Earlean Mae. They had three children, Lee Jordan, Jr., Glen Jordan and Betty Jean. He was a lifelong member of Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church, where he drove the Church van for over twenty-five years and served in the Brotherhood and Sunday School. He worked for the Jackson County Family Court as a driver until he retired. He was also an entrepreneur operating his own lawn service company. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, a sister, Sadie Mae Caesar, one daughter, Betty Jean, and one nephew, Gilbert Jordan, Jr. He is survived by two sons, one brother, one brother-in-law, eight grandchildren, several-great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
