Born in Floyd County in 1906, she was the daughter of the late James Garland and Amanda Reynolds Sutphin and is survived by her husband, P. B. Baker; two sons, Robert C. Baker, Galax, Va., and James G. Baker, Route 2 Pulaski; one brother, 0. C. Sutphin, Hagerstown. Md.; three sisters, Mrs. P. R. Miller, Richmond, Mrs. O. E. Conrad, Roanoke and Mrs. Annie S. Owens Pulaski; one half-sister. Mrs. Lawrence, Waynesboro, one foster brother, Harry H. Rhoades, Pulaski. Also, two grandchildren
Funeral services will be held today at 2 p. m. from Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Redd officiating. Interment will follow in the Shiloh cemetery. The body will remain at the funeral home until the hour of services.
