A former Massillon resident, Mrs. Viola M. Stewart, 75, of 248 Smith Ave, SW Canton, died Friday evening in Mercy Hospital, Canton.
Mrs. Stewart had lived in Massillon for 15 years prior to moving to Canton 11 years ago.
Mrs. Stewart is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Rosalind Kunkle at home, and Mrs. Anthony Franco of Cleveland; 2 sisters, Mrs. Daniel Huey of Tree Mills, PA; and Mrs. Mary Stevenson of Detroit; 11 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Welch funeral home in Canton. The Rev. George Parkinson, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Canton will officiate. Interment will be made in West Lawn Cemetery, Canton.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
