Leo Anderson, 73, a resident of Oroville for many years, died yesterday at the county hospital.
Anderson had lived in a cabin at 1640 Lincoln street since the death of his wife a few years ago.
He leaves no relatives. He was born in Sweden and came to California 53 years ago. He settled at Palmero. He lived there until the death of his wife, then moving to Oroville.
Cherokee Cemetery is on the west side of Cherokee Road 3/4 mile above Cherokee and 3 miles from Highway 70. It served the early mining community of Cherokee and the nearby farming area of Pentz.
